Age and use
The toddlernest is the natural next step after the baby nest and is suitable for children from approximately 8 months and up. It creates a safe base for relaxation, play and peace - ideal for the transition from the baby nest.
Reversible design
Like our baby nest, the junior nest is reversible. You can easily switch between a solid color and a patterned look – perfect for adapting the style to your mood, decor or child's preference.
Flexible function
The long, soft edge can be zipped off and used separately – for example as a support in the junior bed or as a snuggle and play area for the older child. A versatile product that grows with the child.
Safety first
Always use the junior nest on a flat and stable surface, and supervise during use. It is designed for waking time and presence - not as a sleeping place.
Materials and maintenance
The toddlernest is made of soft, organic cotton and filled with OEKO-TEX®-certified, hypoallergenic polyester. The cover can be easily zipped off and washed at 40 degrees (air dried).
The toddlernest creates a safe and calm space for your child – like an extra set of arms that gently embrace and soothe.

A toddlernest is primarily intended for awake time and quality moments with your child.
If you choose to open one end and have removed the logo ribbon, remember to remove and store the cord for possible later use.
The base of the junior nest consists of a thin layer of padded fabric and holds the tube in place, helping maintain the nest-shaped form.
- Place the junior nest in the washing machine WITHOUT the logo band and the string at the end, and wash on a gentle cycle. We recommend a maximum of 40 degrees to best care for both the product and the environment. The logo band can be washed by hand if necessary.
- When the washing is finished, let the junior nest dry flat. When it is completely dry, finish by giving your junior nest a little “massage” around the sides so that it regains its shape.

What is the difference between a baby nest and a toddlernest?
The Toddlernest is larger (60x120 cm) and designed for children from 8 and up . It provides a safe transition from the baby nest and can be used in the crib, on the sofa or as a cozy play area.
How long can my child use the toddlernest?
The Toddlernest is suitable for children from approx. 8 months up to 3 years . When the child grows out of the "nest", the hose can be unzipped and used in the junior bed or as a cozy support cushion.
Can the toddlernest be used in a cot?
Yes! The Toddlernest fits perfectly in a cot (60x120 cm) and provides extra security for the child.
Are the materials organic and safe?
Yes, all materials are 100% organic , free of harmful chemicals and safe for your child.
Can I take the toddlernest with me on the go?
Yes! The toddlernest is easy to move around the home and can also be used when traveling, so your child has a familiar sleeping place no matter where you are.
How do I clean the toddlernest?
The cover can be zipped off and machine washed at 30 degrees . The hose should be aired and wiped with a damp cloth when necessary.
How do I use the snake when the baby outgrows the nest?
When the child no longer needs the nest, the snake can be used as support in the junior bed, for play or as a cozy cushion on the sofa .

Can I return an item if I regret my purchase?
Yes, you have 14 days to return your order from the day you receive it.

You return the item to our address (not a parcel shop).

Does the item have to be in original condition when returned?
Yes, the item must be returned unused, in its original packaging and with tags intact. If the item has been used, we can only refund part or none of the amount.

If you experience an error or defect, you have a 2-year right of complaint . Contact us at info@borncopenhagen.dk with your order number and pictures of the error.
Do you cover shipping costs for complaints?
Yes, if your complaint is justified, we will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.
